The Art of Learning to Read Body Language & Offering Insightful Adjustment YACEP course will be offered both in Online via Zoom and In-person @ the Studio Space!
This Training is designed as a Continuing Education course Certified through the Yoga Alliance (YACEP) to offer CE Credits to RYT's & ERYT's or any one looking to expand their knowledge into an artful approach to reading body language & ability to offer adjustments (or verbal cues where more appropriate) with an emphasis on presenting the importance of alignment to an all levels class setting, as well as one on one... Build on Communication skills such as group dynamics, time management, and the establishment of priorities and boundaries.
The course will go over protocol for health contradictions, recommended prop use, modifications, various preparation sequences of Poses & Posture Flows from floor-work and seated to standing and balancing, plus other valuable techniques for offering a no pressure teaching approach. Using our eyes to observe the patterns of the body's movement & placement in the space of practice, we will learn how to safely & artfully teach our students with therapeutic adjustments using applications based in Thai Yoga Bodywork, as well as techniques where we learn how to offer the students ways to self adjust.
This course will offer ways to create a class that is accessible to a range of students seeking a compassionate yet engaging approach that both challenges and inspires the practice so that it can be adapted for a variety of students from experienced beginners to intermediate practitioners seeking a care-full approach. Certificates of Completion will awarded to those who complete the Course. A follow up reading & writing assignment will be required to receive the Certificate of Completion.
This course offers a Certificate of Completion & is Yoga Alliance certified (8 CE Credits available to RYT's & ERYT's).
