Baby & Me / Family Yoga Play

(3 Months - Toddlers)

This class if for new mamas (or papas / caregivers) and the babes. The parent(s) / caregiver(s) get a chance to engage in the soothing benefits of practice while also savoring the special time to learn from their playful little Teacher. Remember, it takes a village… we will all look out for each other to help support a stress free environment because raising young minds is about going with the flow sometimes. This class is an invitation to find peace in the chaos, laugh at and love yourself and the babe(s) & restore the body mind relationship!

Students will need to bring an open mind + a Yoga Mat + thick Blanket for practice!

 

Mind-full Body Tween/Teen Yoga (Ages 11-17)

During these series, practitioners will be introduced to mindfulness exercises and yoga postures that build confidence, enhance awareness and grounding. Visualization meditation and pranayama "Breathing exercises" are used to reduce tension, and relieve stress which can be applied to everyday life. We will explore the influential and playful connection between mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and journaling exercises.  Stress releasing coloring sheets will be used as art therapy to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem.

Students will need to bring an open mind + a Yoga Mat + thick Blanket + pen/ journal/color pencils or markers!

 

Family Yoga Play

From the little kids to the big kids, it’s a playful time for the whole family to stretch out the mind-body… This class is an opportunity to let go of the crazy schedules that can stress families out, so we can remember to breathe and be the fun loving people we really are, both on our own and when interacting with one another. Plan to leave the other stuff behind and go with the flow, as we to come together and enjoy the soothing benefits of a Yoga practice steeped in playfulness and moments of quiet stillness, while also savoring the special times that allow us to learn from each other.

Students will need to bring an open mind + a Yoga Mat + thick Blanket for practice!

Conscious Kids Yoga Play

(Ages 6-10)

Explore, Imagine, Create! Yoga is a fun and creative way for children to explore the capabilities of the mind, body and spirit. It provides a creative and constructive release for their abounding energy and teaches them how to focus, relax and calm their minds. Most of all, children are challenged and have a great deal of fun practicing yoga! Yoga engages children by addressing all styles of learning while stimulating their conscious minds to think differently and outside the box. Children’s imaginations are cultivated and challenged through yoga inspired games, games that encourage focus, memory and physical fitness as well as body awareness. All of these things are imperative to a child’s development and to successfully navigate the world in which they live. All levels are welcome.

Mobility Flow Yoga for Active Seniors

Experience the vitality, strength and flexibility that comes with gentle and specific yogic movements practiced from a seated (&/or standing) positions with use of a chair. The focus of this class is on basic and successful orientation of yoga and breath work accessible to various levels of experience without the pressure of being subjected to any of those intimidating or possibly unsafe "pretzel poses." Students are encouraged to approach the practice with non-judgment and acceptance of any limitations. Come to honor the body, to be playful in spirit and to relax the mind!
