How to participate
in live-streamed
classes on Zoom:

We’ve been working with a web-based video conferencing platform by now known to many as Zoom. This is where you’ll find the meeting space we’ve chosen for the community to come together in a live-streamed online classroom setting!

We’re now offering multiple classes throughout the week.

One of the reasons we chose Zoom is that it will allow us to share the links with all those in attendance so that each participant will have unlimited access to classes they participated in after the actual class takes place.

Those with Unlimited Memberships will be able to access links to all the classes we’ve recorded.

We hope you’ll join us in practice! Check out the information below and be sure to contact us if we can assist with the set up!

  • Set up a Zoom account - Access the Zoom site online using your web browser. While not necessary for access, you can also Download the Zoom App to whatever device or all that you plan to use for participation in classes.

    * NOTE: A laptop is preferable; tablets and mobile devices seem to often be problematic.*

  • Login or claim your Tula Software account - Login to the account that you have been using or claim your account on the Tula Software using the preferred email. Keep in mind that anyone can sign up and make a payment on the website using this software; however that does not mean you are logged in, unless you have actually set up the email and password.

    * NOTE: If you decide to use a different email then the one we have on file from your initial visit be sure to notify us so we can merge account info associated with both emails to reflect the preferred email & all previous attendances/purchases. *

  • After login, sign up, register, and view broadcast link - Once logged in to your account on the Tula Software, click the “Sign Up” link listed under the class you seek to participate. You may do so by clicking the Ongoing Class Calendar link, then clicking the button that appears to "Register Now".

The "View Broadcast" link will appear, which will allow you to join the Zoom class session. As a student, it’s necessary to “login” to the account every-time you “sign up” and “register now” for a class. This will enable you to actually see the ‘View Broadcast’ link from the calendar page of the DSA Website (unless you just leave yourself logged on your device in as many say works best for them)…

    * NOTE: if you “sign up” & “register now” and pay without going through the quick login process to the Tula Software, you will NOT be granted access to the link that takes you directly to the Zoom Session.*

  • Create the space - These online Zoom sessions are taking place in real time, so it’s best to 1) register in advance, 2) arrive early enough to suss out any issues with your camera/microphone access, 3) be ready to go with whatever props or mat arrangement you may need for practice for the best possible experience.

If you resonate with creating the space, perhaps burn some sage or palo santo, light some incense, diffuse or apply some essential oils, and/or open some windows to clear the air. You may even like to place special objects or plant-life around, to shift your focus and set the vibe for practice!
