About  Kate Young

After practicing yoga for 10 years, I was looking for ways to deepen and re-energize my personal practice. Now having completed my first 200-hour teacher training, I’m eager to share the benefits of yoga that I have experienced through regular practice.

My classes focus on alignment and healthy breathing, in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. I like to think of every class as an exploration, and try to bring a sense of curiosity and play to each session.

I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends. I am a full-time graphic designer for a firm in Washington, DC. I’ve lived in Lansdowne with my husband since 2012. We have two dogs who’ve mastered down-dog and savasana.
